These sessions are designed to support you by providing fundamental knowledge on patent protection, filing routes and strategies, and practical tools to help you safeguard your innovations and position them for maximum impact. 

Session 1: Introduction to Patents
A concise overview of the basics of patents, including their purpose, what can be patented, and key patentability requirements such as novelty and inventive step. This session will also cover FTO vs. patentability searches and the concept of inventorship. Snacks will be provided during the session and a certificate of attendance will be given following completion of all three sessions.
